We stayed with my wife (reservation under her name) Exceptionally located, beach side, amazing view. Great building, very modern and high standard. Great swimming pool. Great spa. True luxury feeling. Staff is poorly trained. The spa/massage was good, but everything else was not great at all. We got woken up at 7 am by the room service repeatedly slamming doors near by our room while cleaning other rooms. The staff barely speaks English which is not adequate for a hotel that wants to be high standard. The waitress did not bring what we asked for despite showing her the picture of what we wanted that was on the menu. When asking about the national park (which is the main thing on the island) and how to get there, the guy at the front desk had no idea what we were talking about and failed to give us recommandation on how to get there. The front desk did not communicate with us when our tour guide came to pick us up, despite clearly telling them we were expecting him and that they should let us know when he arrived. I have mixed feeling about our stay as this hotel clearly has the ambition of being top level, but the service is way below expectations. Overall I do not recommend.

We stayed in a lovely ocean view suite with a great view. The hotel was mostly empty so pools and beaches were very quiet. Its a short walk in to town in the evening if you don't want to eat at the hotel. My only complaint is the exorbitant cost of the laundry service. We should of checked the prices first because it would have been cheaper just to buy some new clothes in the market. Overall recommended if you are here in the off season. Much nicer and quieter than staying in town.

Hotel general: Hotel consists of 3 buildings with +-17 floors each. Each building (theoretically) has a pool with pool bar and one or more restaurants. All buildings are connected by a bridge on floor 11. It is important to note that the 3 buildings are not yet completely ready. Some restaurants, pools, service desks, and bars etc are still closed/visibly under construction (specifically in building 3). While the whole (future) offer is already advertised guests cannot use some of them (yet). Hotel has 3 private beaches, which are clean and empty - nobody except of us used it. Currently there are one indoor and 2 outdoor pools open (One in building 1, two in building 2). All clean and with great ocean view. Sunbeds, umbrellas and towels available. The hotel was very empty, so we had most pools and also the gaming area for ourselves - which was great. Rooms: I had a room with ocean view which was great. From the mountain view rooms you can mostly see the hill right behind the hotel with lush green forest/bushes. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. The bathroom has a bathtub (which can also be used as shower). TV has a great choice of international channels (+ YouTube App) . Food: Breakfast buffet included in room charge. Great choice and taste! Lunch/Dinner options much focused on seafood. Prices quite high, but seems to be good quality. Service: From check-in over bar staff, staff in gaming area and pool area - all were friendly and eager to help. Most didn't speak English (well) but used Google translate to communicate. Hotel staff focus on service and creating good memories. They surprised me with a birthday cake, which was super nice! Spa: I booked the aroma therapy massage (90min), to which hotel guests receive 30% discount. It was a very good and relaxing massage. However, it was no aroma therapy, as announced at the counter (with lavendar and orange oil) but done with regular oil. All in all: would recommend! Nice place to stay and relax!

My experience at Flamingo resorts was pretty awesome. The highlight being the amazing ocean front views from the rooms. We booked ocean front rooms of course but you can see the ocean from pretty much everywhere in the hotel. Service at the restaurant was excellent as their senior staff would not hesitate to help out with an order when other staff members did not speak English. The food was very delicious and we enjoyed it day after day. The beach front has the potential to be so much more but when it is plagued with floating garbage and jellyfish this really ruins the experience for customers. The reception staff are in need of better training as they were very dismissive when I brought the jellyfish to their attention. We had to resign to the in door pool for the remainder of our stay. I must say though that the pictures on their website does not do this place justice it really is much more beautiful in person. Keep in mind that buses are prohibited from driving on the roads leading up to the hotel so if you are being transported there by bus they will drop you at the water front which is at the foot of the hill and you will have a 5 minute walk up hill to get to the hotel.

The room was nice but rather small. Very good view of the beach and great bed. The air conditioner seemingly stopped working each night and we woke up to a piping hot room each night. During the day it worked OK but averaged about 26c in the room. Service from staff was excellent and I can't be happier with the service we received. When we ate breakfast at the hotel restaurant, the staff would stand very close to the table just watching us. They were all friendly and were there in case we needed anything but sometimes it made us feel like we were being watched. The hotel was mostly empty with all but one restaurant closed and two of the 3 towers were also closed which was disappointing as the booking site nor reception told us this before we went there. The pool that connects the two towers is one of their highlights however it was closed and the large indoor pool with bar was deserted and no bar present. We stayed during November so maybe earlier in the year it's open.
